Before a captain is matched, you can adjust what you're offering to pay — down by up to 20% or up by as much as 50% of the estimated fare.
Offering less may mean a longer wait, or no captain accepting at all, since captains see the offer and choose whether to take it. Offering more can help during busy periods.
Whatever you offer is what you pay, subject to the waiting and delay charges above if they apply. The captain cannot change it after accepting.
