You can let SnappCab use your phone's location during a ride, while the app is open — never before you book, never after the trip, never in the background.

It's used to help your captain find you (they see how far you are from the pickup, not where you are), to stop a trip being ended as "Rider didn't come" while you're at the pickup, to place an SOS, and to notice if you and your captain end up far apart. It isn't used for pricing or marketing.

What's kept is tied to that trip and deleted after 14 days. You can turn it off at any time in Settings › Privacy; you can still say I'm at the pickup without it.
